Turn X-Plane into training

Ask for a session in plain English. It loads in your sim in seconds. Fly it, then see how you did against a real standard.

Practice with a plan, not just a sim

Most home sim time is free flight: no plan, no standard, no one checking the work. The plugin connects X-Plane to your AI assistant, so every session starts from what you want to train and ends with feedback.

Describe the setup the way you'd brief it. The assistant builds the session, sends it to X-Plane, and you accept it in the sim.

Works with Claude today.

Set me up for steep turns over Salzburg. 3,000 feet, clear skies, midday.

Done. Your session is waiting in X-Plane: airborne near LOWS at 3,000 ft, CAVOK, 12:00 local. Fly a 360 left and a 360 right at 45° of bank. I'll score both turns when you finish.

Ask. Fly. Review.

  1. AskTell your assistant what you want to practice, where, and in what conditions.
  2. FlyThe session loads in X-Plane. Accept it and fly, on your own schedule.
  3. ReviewGet scores and a recording of the flight. Share them with your instructor.

What a session can set

Everything you'd want to control before the first control input.

Start position

In the air at a set altitude and heading, lined up on a runway, a few miles out on final, or parked at an airport.

Weather

Real-world weather, one of eight presets from VFR to thunderstorms, or your own: wind and gusts, visibility, up to three cloud layers, temperature, altimeter, rain, turbulence and runway condition.

Time of day

Now, sunset, night, or an exact local or UTC date and time.

The brief

Each session arrives with what to fly and how it will be judged. You accept or decline it in the sim.

Feedback against a standard

  • Scored automatically. Steep turns are graded on bank, altitude, airspeed and rollout heading. More maneuvers are on the way.
  • Every flight recorded. Patterns, approaches, stalls or cross-countries: track, altitude, speed, bank and heading, twice a second.
  • Results where you work. Ask your assistant how it went, what slipped and what to fly next.

Sessions to try

Say it like this, or in your own words.

Steep turns

“Steep turns at 3,000 feet over my home airport, clear skies.”

Gusty final

“Put me 5 miles out on final, wind 20 gusting 28, 40 degrees off the runway.”

Low visibility

“Lined up on the runway, 2 miles visibility, broken at 800, light rain.”

Night arrival

“Ten miles out from an unfamiliar airport at sunset, real weather.”

For instructors and schools

Training doesn't have to stop when the student leaves the airport.

Assign a session

Send the exact setup you want flown before the next lesson.

See the work

Read scores and recordings before the student shows up, and start the lesson where they actually are.

Your syllabus at home

Turn lessons from your syllabus into sessions students fly on their own computers.

What it doesn't do yet

An early release. We'd rather tell you now.

One scored maneuver

Steep turns are scored today. Other maneuvers can be flown and recorded, not scored.

Your aircraft, your choice

The plugin doesn't change the aircraft. Load the one you want before you start.

Static weather

Weather is set at the start and holds. No failures, fuel and weight, traffic or ATC yet.

No live coaching

Feedback comes after the flight, not during it. Starting a new session reloads the flight.

A sim session is practice. A plan makes it training.
