Welcome
Thank you for enrolling in Intro to Stalled Flight.
This is a three part program that reflects Community Aviation's signature LEARN-DO-FLY™ optimal learning framework.
What now?
- Bookmark this page - this is where you'll want to return to continue your Learn-Do-Fly course.
- Take the Pre-Course Survey - this is your baseline. It's not a test.
- Review the course syllabus - download the course syllabus and review your options. You don't need to make a decision now but take stock of what's ahead and the options that you have (e.g., DO pathways, VFR/IFR tracks, aircraft type, etc.)
- Plan your DO and FLY training - you'll have the opportunity to select your preferred training region in the Pre-Course Survey. Each region features instructors pre-qualified to teach the course syllabus and vetted flight training Centers with classrooms, flight simulation devices and airplanes. Try to keep your Learn-Do-Fly training schedule tight. For best results you should move through the three part course framework within a matter of days, allowing for some rest in-between the DO and the FLY.
SoCal Region - CP Aviation

Flight Simulation and Visualization
This is Part 2 | DO. In this session we will do a brief review of the LEARN and then move immediately into simulation and visualization exercises. You'll perform slow flight, stalls, simulated go-arounds, engine failures and drive to Vtrim +30. Then we'll debrief.
Flight Simulation & Visualization
Now it's time for the DO part of the course. You have two basic pathway options; flight simulation or chair flying. Each method is equally effective. Choice is dependent upon the resource availability at training centers, your budget and personal preferences. You could also chose to pursue both methods.
Contact the following experts or centers in your training region and schedule your DO session. Your training will be more effective if you complete the Learn-Do-Fly™ framework in short sequential order.

Training in the Airplane
Now for the FLY part of the course. Contact the following experts or centers in your training region and schedule your in-airplane training. Your training will be more effective if you complete the Learn-Do-Fly™ framework in short sequential order so don't delay.
