Adopt a proficiency diet
Being a safe and proficient pilot requires dedicated, continuous training. And that’s not always easy to get, especially this time of year! Rust buildup is bad for metal but it’s downright dangerous for pilots. You want to sharpen your flying skills before you take to the skies. You want to be as good a pilot as can be.

Most GA pilots don’t follow a regular training program that keeps their skills sharp and fresh. Yet, any pilot, pro and part-timers alike, can suddenly be faced with challenging situations that require their best game to solve the problem.

The principles, tools and techniques that military and commercial pilots use to reach a true correlation level of learning are available to GA pilots too. And they will be available to you, at the EAA pilot proficiency center, this spring.

Sky Mastery: Intensive Workshops and
Simulations for Ultimate Pilot Proficiency

At the Spring to Proficiency clinic you will be immersed in a series of knowledge-based workshops, flight simulation exercises and real world scenarios. You’ll learn in a workshop format and then apply these acquired skills in a Redbird advanced aviation training device (flight simulator) with exercises and challenging scenarios.

You will expand your flight envelope so that you’ll feel more comfortable being uncomfortable. You’ll leave the clinic a more confident pilot and with your own year round proficiency plan to implement at home. You will be a safer pilot.
