We’re building a network of pilots, instructors and centers with a common theme - a love of flying. Whether you’re a new student, retired astronaut or an aviation enthusiast you’ll find like mindedness here.
Airports are a community rally point because everyone has at least one favorite field. Help us build yours. Upload your pics, check-in and follow as many as you like. Contribute some “gouge”.
We believe that you learn better by doing and doing often. Getting your hands on something you’ve read or watched can help embed the subject procedures.
That’s simulation training.
Simulation has been a central component of flight training for the military and airlines for decades. And for good reason - it works. Professional pilots travel regularly to regional centers at Flight Safety International or SIMCOM for compulsory sim training. But what about the rest of us? These sessions can cost thousands of dollars and there are not many Level D sims configured as Skyhawks, Mooneys, or SR22’s. So where do we go? Not as far as you think and not for as much as you think. If you’re a pilot, instructor or flight training center with an ATD you’ll want to download our ebook.
