About Larry

Larry has been providing flight instruction since 1987. He has flown as a commercial pilot with USAir/Allegheny Airlines, Majestic Air Service, and as a corporate pilot — bringing real-world airline and commercial experience directly into his instruction.

He is an FAA Safety Team Lead Representative, coordinator for the EAA Frederick Chapter 524 IMC Club, and a member of the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE). He holds CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates alongside an Airline Transport Pilot certificate.

Larry specializes in remote instruction — helping pilots train and stay proficient from anywhere in the world using their home flight simulator. He is a recognized expert in instrument flying, Garmin avionics, and the Garmin Pilot EFB. His Calendly-based booking system charges by the hour in 15-minute increments, so you only pay for the time you use.

How Remote Instruction Works

Larry's remote instruction sessions take place over Zoom. You'll share your screen so Larry can see your simulator, EFB, or avionics display in real time. Sessions are billed at $69/hour in 15-minute increments — you only pay for the time you use. Scheduling is handled through Calendly; Stripe processes payment at the time of booking.
